Moliets Summer Surfing
We have had a bumping 10 foot swell running for the last few days , and as fun as it sounds we have moved lessons down the coast near Capbreton for safety reasons.
Down the coast between Hossegor and Capbreton there is always a wave for everybody. La Nord was looking very good , but for the experts only. This is a deep water big wave, meaning if you bail you go under for a long time.
Due to the extreme underwater geography of this area ,as odd as it sounds and looks, less than 200 meters down the beach from the raging 10 foot monster of La Nord we have La Sud. Its can be 10 foot + at La Nord and it will be 2-3 foot at La Sud. So we have had great little waves like these below for our small group lessons.
